The software agent also performs a random partitioning of the patients’ data into training and testing sets, one time neural network training, and an accuracy estimate on the testing data set. These studies indicate that at an optimum clustering distance the number of classes is minimized with efficient training on the ANN. This novel approach to ANN reduces the number of patterns used for ANN learning and works also as an effective tool for smoothing data, removing singularities, and increasing the accuracy of classification by the ANN. The studies conducted involve training and testing on separate clinical data sets, which subsequently achieves a high accuracy of diagnosis. First, using the automatic random extraction procedure, the initial data set (139 patients) was partitioned into two sets – training and testing. The main process consists of three successive steps: clustering performed on training data set, neural network’s training on clusters from previous step, and classifier’s accuracy evaluation on testing data. The use of the back-propagation to train on the entire data set without prior processing is slower than for the training on patterns.

Artificial intelligence, consciousness, turing test

The mathematician Alan Turing once proposed a test which could be used to settle the question whether a computer met the criteria for being an ‘artificial intelligence’, that is to say, a test which would determine whether the computer was not only able to calculate but also to think, as we do. When we answer the questions set in Pathways with only the web site as silent witness we are in a similar position to that occupied by a questioner and responder in Alan Turing’s famous test for determining machine intelligence. Should the correct philosophical Turing response be to neutrally elicit from the questioner what her understanding is of the phrase ‘to be alive’ as she was before her present condition, what it is now and what she thinks it will be? Given the questioner’s position would it also for the sake of logical completeness be the correct response to offer interpretations of the key phrase not included in her perspective and persuade her that she may not choose to reject some of those meanings? For a person in this position the question we are thinking about is clearly very heavily weighted with both issues of fact and issues of value. The Turing P-game has now altered so that it is not simply a matter of discrete question, response, evaluation, decision and closure but more a continuum of interchange in which information, ideas, questions, learning and teaching are flowing in both directions. Identifying particular philosopher’s approach to the question, a logico-linguistic explication of questioner meaning an explication of questioner related truths and satisfactions, question answering as a dual learning experience, knowledge of the history of relevant ideas, investigation of the question taking separately a monadic view of individuals and secondly a dualistic view of individuals.

Artificial Intelligence Ai Chatbots

One definition of artificial intelligence is offered by the Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence – “The scientific understanding of the mechanisms underlying thought and intelligent behavior and their embodiment in machines”. Artificial intelligence is difficult to describe because as humans, we still have not clearly defined what intelligence is. Since related technologies such as computers and imaging are increasing rapidly if not exponentially, and there are so many levels of intelligence, I would take an uneducated guess that machine intelligence in some form will exist by 2025. The technological singularity is the hypothesis that accelerating progress in technologies will cause a runaway effect wherein artificial intelligence will exceed human intellectual capacity and control, thus radically changing civilization in an event called “The singularity”. Many chat bots use artificial intelligence to interpret speech or text input and before providing a response.
