Asking children to learn through multimedia projects is not only an excellent form of project-based learning that teaches teamwork, but it’s also a good way to motivate students who are excited to create something that their peers will see. Legal Services Corporation: America’s Partner for Equal Justice

The TIG application process begins with the submission of a brief letter of intent to apply for funding. We will invite full proposals for those projects that have a reasonable chance of success in the grant competition process based on LSC’s analysis of the information provided in the LOI. Prospective applicants are encouraged to contact TIG staff with any questions or to get information about prior TIG projects. LSC hosted a webinar on the 2017 TIG cycle on February 13, 2017. This webinar reviewed the TIG cycle rules and requirements, the initial Letter of Intent process, and TIG’s area of interest under which applicants may elect to submit applications. These documents are intended to provide general guidance to applicants and may not meet all requirements. Letters of Intent were due on Monday, March 13, 2017 by 11:59 pm EDT. They must be submitted using the LSC Grants online system. Invitations to submit a full application are sent out in April. Submit a Full Application LSC invites successful LOI applicants to submit a full application in the LSC Grants online system. The TIG 2017 Application Instructions, issued following the LOI phase, provide detailed information about the requirements and review criteria to receive a TIG award. LSC also hosted a webinar to review application requirements. Applications are submitted using LSC’s online grant system and are due on June 1, 2017 by 11:59 pm EDT. TIG awards are announced in September. Sample Grant Applications Applicants can utilize these sample application components when preparing their funding requests. These documents are intended to provide general guidance to applicants and may not meet all requirements for the 2017 TIG cycle. Programs should review the full application instructions before they begin drafting.
